On 6th Street, a half-block off Beacon, you could still get a cold beer to counter the demolition dust. There, seated at the bar, I found the trio that I had seen earlier at the Beacon Light Mission. They were curious about my picture taking and puzzled by my interest in these old buildings. But they listened affably, seemingly willing to see in me just another example of men's odd ways.

When we left the bar, they asked me to take their picture. I got off three shots; this is my favorite. It is obviously staged - but not by me. The gentleman at the left assumed the role of producer/director. The three of them were actors at heart.
