Near Penryn, March 1976

The orderliness of orchards appeals to me. There are no people in these pictures but the hand of man is clearly seen in the geometry of his tree plantings. Occasionally we can enhance nature.
Some pictures were taken near Penryn, northeast of Sacramento off the road to Reno; others near Vacaville off the road to San Francisco.
