THE OREGON COAST 2003
Traveling down US Highway 5 on a beautiful morning, the Oregon coast provided a feast of visual delights. I got the first two pictures at Florence; the third at Winchester Bay, and the fourth on the way to Charleston.At Charleston, there’s a memorial displaying some two dozen names of fisherman lost at sea. Nearby, in the Basin Café bar, a wall sign proclaims :
”If you start a fight for any reason…you will be put on the permanent 86 list.” The bar was calm.
