San Francisco 1981
"The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco."
-- Mark Twain
Often quoted but not authenticated, maybe he said it; maybe he didn't. He may have just
come to the city from the Sacramento Valley. It could have been 100 degrees there.
While we lived in Sacramento, I saw San Francisco in drizzle, fog, and sunshine. Loved
it all.
