I can't recall when I finally got Joan's letters. They may have been held in Aerojet's Paris office while I was in Algeria. If so, I read them in Paris before heading home, and stored them with other memorabilia from my first French campaign.
After all these years, as I prepared the Paris section of this website, I rediscovered them with joy. I have a feeling that these letters written in 1967-70 were meant to be read again in 2001. I read them now and hear Joan's voice once more..jpg)
