Old Absinthe House

Bourbon Street has two of them. They say that Jean Lafitte and Andrew Jackson may have plotted their defense of the city in one or both. This one, Tony Moran’s, seems now dedicated to the greater glory of the N.F.L. They don’t have a Green Bay Packer helmet but they have Brett Farve’s jersey. He’s a Louisiana boy.
I told Lisa that her Ramos Fizz was as good as any I’ve had in San Francisco. She says everybody tells her that.
